Nottingham Forest make decision on Montiel loanee

Nottingham Forest defender Gonzalo Montiel made his first appearance for the club in months on the weekend.

Montiel came on during the 3-1 loss to Tottenham in the Premier League last weekend.

However, the club do have to make a decision on whether or not he will remain beyond this season.

Montiel is on loan from Sevilla for the campaign, with the club having a buy option in the deal.

Spanish media outlet Orgullo Biri state that Montiel will be heading back when the season ends.

Forest are not in a position to make his deal permanent, as they do not find it good value.
