Pau Torres: Anything possible at Aston Villa

Pau Torres insists anything is possible at Aston Villa.

Villa have suddenly emerged as Premier League contenders this season.

Torres told Radio Marca: "The objective of this week is to be able to be leaders. At home we are having a good streak of victories and, if we have reached this situation at Christmas, it is because we are doing things well.

"Fans are seeing that the team is competing against all rivals. They are very happy to see Aston Villa where they have not been seen for a long time. Our main objective is that someone from the Big Six fails and that we can play in Europe, last year we already did the Conference, but in a larger competition, something that would make us excited.

"Surely everyone would have agreed to reach this point like this, but this doesn't mean anything. Things are just going well. (Unai) Emery's work has been very good since day one. We cannot set limits for ourselves."
