AC Milan coach Stefano Pioli may have to bear in mind the international commitments of some of his players when he chooses a starting eleven against Fiorentina on Saturday.

According to Milan News, the coach will have to evaluate the players who have been involved in international fixtures and decide if they are fresh enough to start against La Viola.

For example, Christian Pulisic returned from the United States of America today which is a long journey, so they will not want to run the risk of overworking him. That means there could be a start for Samuel Chukwueze who is the other option on the right wing.

Tijjani Reijnders comes back tomorrow from playing two matches for the Netherlands, so he will need to be given some special attention before it is decided whether he can start or not, with Yacine Adli and Ismael Bennacer both searching for minutes.

It is expected that Davide Calabria and Alessandro Florenzi will be the full-backs, with Theo Hernandez suspended.

In the middle of defence, it will almost certainly be Fikayo Tomori and Matteo Gabbia as they are the fittest options right now. Rafael Leao, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Olivier Giroud are expected to form three parts of the usual front four in a 4-2-3-1 formation.
