PSG coach Luis Enrique has paid tribute to departing striker Kylian Mbappe.

Mbappe announced his exit from PSG last week with Real Madrid his expected destination as his deal expires.

Enrique said: "Ours is such a complex sport that the teams that have the best players do not win all their games - we have known this for some time. It doesn't change the general picture.

"All my decisions were made based on what I thought was best for the team. There is still a title to win, this is our goal: regardless of the players, we will be stronger next season. I can only say positive things about Mbapp and his brother.

"I understand his decision, he spent 7 years here, he is a legend of the club. He has given everything for PSG and has not yet said where he will go, even if it is clear. He is a leader, with a smile I wish him the best. I give him 10 as a person and 10 as a footballer."
