On Monday, a report from Le Parisien revealed a confrontation between Paris Saint-Germain club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and Kylian Mbappé. However, the capital club quickly denied that the club chief and player had any type of clash on Sunday.
PSG fell 3-1 in Kylian Mbappé’s final match at the Parc des Princes as a player for his hometown club. The 25-year-old scored the opening goal, but Toulouse FC would score three unanswered goals for the victory.
Nonetheless, before the match, Al-Khelaifi asked for a meeting with Mbappé and asked him for explanations on why he deliberately did not thank him in his farewell video.
Both individuals were alone in the room to discuss it. The tone rose very quickly, and things got heated very quickly. It quickly turned into a huge clash, with “the walls shook.”
Journalist Ben Jacobs reports that no clash occurred as PSG denies reports of a bust-up between Al-Khelaifi and Mbappée at the Toulouse game. The two have met, as they have done before several games this season.
