Rayo Vallecano coach Inigo Perez was left frustrated after their 1-1 draw with Cadiz.

The match was suspended for a short time due to hail, so adding to Perez's frustrations.

He later said: "The feeling is stinging because you find victory close and in the end, you don't get it. If we do a colder analysis, I think the result is fair. In the first half, we were not good and we were not at the level of what a game like this requires.

"The point is fair, we are aware of it because after the goal, we all entered a situation of chaos, which we have not known how to handle, they did and we almost succeeded.

On the hail, he also said: "Everything happened quickly. As soon as the hailstorm started, they told us that it was a consensual decision between the referee and the players. I didn't find out and that's why I protested because I don't like interruptions in football.

"We accepted it because we had to look after the integrity of those who are inside. I come from the north, I have trained for many hours since I was little and I have always liked to play like that. On the band, you don't feel that cold that you can feel in the stands."
