Mbappe’s farewell was followed by him saying goodbye to the PSG ultras too, where he thanked them for their support over the years and summed up his time. It was noted that CEO Nasser Al-Khelaifi was not referenced whatsoever, something that stands out given his carefully curated communication strategy. Al-Khelaifi have been involved in a number of tense negotiations with Mbappe and his family over recent years, and clearly, something has broken down in their relations.
