Chelsea will be in the market for a striker in the summer, and a familiar name could be the one they decide to move for when the window opens.

Tammy Abraham has been tipped with a move back to the Premier League after two years away in Italy at Roma, and Chelsea could decide to bring their former player back.

Chelsea have a buy-back clause inserted in the contract of Abraham at Roma.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea going back for Tammy Abraham in the summer transfer window is certainly a possibility.

Speaking on the situation, Romano had this to say, "Tammy Abraham is one to watch, Chelsea have the possibility to bring the player back to Stamford Bridge in the summer with a £70m clause".

Chelsea have first refusal on Abraham if they do want to sign him, and that may prove vital considering the growing interest in the player from Manchester United.

United are considering signing a striker in the summer window and Abraham is one of the names on their list of potential targets.

Chelsea will feel confident of convincing Abraham to return to the club, and the player is felt to be ready to return to England after proving himself at Roma under Jose Mourinho.

It is certain Chelsea will sign a striker in the summer transfer window, and Abraham is one of the names on the list along with some other top strikers. Victor Osimhen and Marcus Thuram are two other names to keep an eye out for.
