Kylian Mbappé officially confirmed on Friday what had been the subject of much speculation: he will depart Paris Saint-Germain upon the expiry of his contract next month. While losing a player of his caliber hurts, the Parisians will have the funds to replace him.

In a genuine speech lasting over three minutes, the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner conveyed his gratitude, acknowledged past mistakes, expressed his love for the team, and hinted at his next adventure, stating he’s prepared for “a new challenge.” 

Now, as the transfer saga nears its conclusion, everyone eagerly awaits the official announcement of his signing with Real Madrid. As PSG look to begin a new era without the 25-year-old, they’ll have a significant amount of money to replace the Frenchman. 

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, PSG stands to liberate a significant €225 million with Mbappé’s departure, allowing for strategic reinvestment. These funds will be strategically allocated to further revamp the squad, focusing on nurturing promising young talents.

One name in the rumor mill that the Ligue 1 side could pursue is Napoli standout Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. A recent report reveals that  PSG are making a serious push for Kvaratskhelia, and talks have been going smoothly over the past few weeks.
