Former Barcelona star Ronaldinho sees Brazil teammate Neymar as a good option for FC Barcelona and thinks he could play alongside Lionel Messi. “Of course I imagine Messi and Neymar playing together at the club, it would be beautiful,” Ronaldinho explained. Ronaldinho is happy for Messi’s success. “I was very happy when he won his fourth Golden Ball. He deserves it because he is the best.” The two-time FIFA World Player of the Year winner says that his only regret in his career is not having spent more years with Messi at Barcelona. “The only thing I regret in my career is not have played more years with Messi,” Ronaldinho continued. “When he was very young I already saw he was the best. It was fun to see when he was a kid, how he did things that most players cannot imagine.” Ronaldinho, who at 32 was recalled to Brazil’s national team to face England on Wednesday in a friendly at Wembley Stadium, said Monday that he still retains the “style” that led him to win the World Cup in 2002 and the UEFA Champions League with Barça in 2006. “I play like I did before,” Ronaldinho said at a news conference in London. He also admitted he “was not counting on getting called-up by coach Luiz Felipe Scolari to bring him back to the ‘canarinha.’“ “I had a very good season last year, so it was something that could happen. I am very satisfied that this has come true,” said the player, who currently plays for Atlético Mineiro after having represented Flamengo, AC Milan, Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain and Gremio, during his career.
