Lazio Sporting Director Angelo Mariano Fabiani has reportedly set his sights on promising LASK striker Marin Ljubicic.

The Biancocelesti are preparing for a key summer transfer window, where Igor Tudor will try to reshape his squad to kickstart a new project in the Italian capital. A number of changes are made, with Luis Alberto ready to leave and Ciro Immobile looking likely to depart.

Lazio have struggled to find a reliable striker in the transfer market for a while now and the possible departure of Immobile has only increased the pressure, forcing the club to look carefully for a replacement. Valentin Castellanos could become the starter for next season, having shown a number of positives.

As reported by FussbalTransfers (via LazioNews24), Lazio are interested in making a move for LASK striker Ljubicic, who has scored 15 goals and provided two assists in 40 appearances across all competitions this term.

The 22-year-old, who is contracted to the Austrian side until June 2027, has a price tag of around €15 million, an accessible price for the Biancocelesti.
