Sassuolo statistics show Berardi dependence

Sassuolo have a very worrying statistic to deal with, having lost all six games without Domenico Berardi this season, as the captain just had knee surgery.

The Neroverdi are accustomed to being rather comfortably in mid-table and had in previous years challenged for European qualification.

This time around, they are hovering just above the relegation zone and the situation is starting to get concerning.

To make matters worse, the statistics show that Sassuolo lost all six Serie A matches in the absence of Berardi this season.

It is particularly worrying considering Berardi just had knee surgery on a meniscus injury and will be out of action for several more weeks.

His nine goals coincided with four victories and two draws.
