Giovanni Simeone’s wife Giulia Coppini taunts Inter and Antonio Rapuano after his husband was sent off in a Supercoppa Final: ‘Easy to win with the referee on your side.’

Simeone received two yellow cards during a Supercoppa Final between Napoli and Inter at the Al-Awwal Park Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Monday, infuriating the Partenopei.

Coach Walter Mazzarri repeatedly shouted: ‘What a shame’ when the Argentinean striker was shown the second yellow card and didn’t even attend the post-match ceremony, while President De Laurentiis blamed referee designator Gianluca Rocchi during a post-match interview with Sport Mediaset.

Simeone’s wife Giulia Coppini joined the protestors on social media, more precisely on Threads, blaming the match official Rapuano and taunting Inter.

“It is not easy to win with one fewer day to rest, but with the referee on your side, it is,” she wrote as reported by CalcioNapoli1926.

Following his red card, Simeone will be suspended in the upcoming Serie A round when the Partenopei visit Maurizio Sarri’s Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
