Alessio Tacchinardi has urged Juventus two young Serie A midfielders.

Atalanta ace Teun Koopmeiners and Bologna's Lewis Ferguson have been linked with Juve for next season.

Former Juve midfielder Tacchinardi told Tuttosport: "In my opinion, Juve should take them both. This team needs midfielders who know how to score goals: and they both are that.

"It needs intense players: and they both are. Players who dribble and attack the goal: and they both are. They complement each other very well and I would take them both. If I had to choose, it would also depend on the technical guide: Koopmeiners seems to like to dribble a little more, Ferguson always goes inside. But then again, I would see them going well together and in my opinion they are two Juventus players."

He continued: "I believe that Juve has several strong young players in the squad, around and in the Next Gen. I wouldn't deprive myself of Soul, Huijsen and Yildiz. But there are others: Miretti, Barrenechea and others and Atalanta likes to launch young players and then sell them. I would work on prospects of this type and try to get to both Koopmeiners and Ferguson: Koopmeiners scores 10 goals in the championship, Ferguson almost the same, while Juve's midfielders never score. That's what Juve is missing.

"Maybe if it was necessary to raise cash I would sacrifice some other players from the current squad in defence or midfield, but never Huijsen, Soul and Yildiz. They are and will be very strong and I also believe that fans need the shock they could give."
