Talks Between Lazio and Juventus Go Back and Forth

Juventus and Lazio didn’t finalize their agreement for Luca Pellegrini due to late discrepancies about the final figures and because the Biancocelesti are trying to expand the negotiation to Nicolò Rovella. The Old Lady didn’t shut the door but demanded an adequate fee.

Lazio are looking to bring in Rovella from Juventus on top of Pellegrini. The two transfers are intertwined, Sportitalia relays. There’s a €2/3M gap in the valuation of the midfielder. He’s keen on the move because he’d be a regular starter in the Italian capital.

The former Genoa and Monza player would transfer with the same formula. Therefore, he’d leave Turin permanently if the two sides came to an understanding.

The Biancocelesti have little to complain about the numbers for the defender, so the delay most likely comes from their attempt for the regista. It’d be an odd decision by Juventus because, other than Nicolò Fagioli, he’s their established and ready youngster and brings something different to the table at the position. The profit needs to be sizeable to justify his sale.
