Tottenham fans are naturally unhappy at their team’s performance in the Europa Conference League as they drew their first group game away at Rennes last night.
Their season had started in a promising manner with three consecutive wins from as many league games.
However, that run was stopped by Crystal Palace at the weekend with the Eagles beating Spurs 3-0.
Their fans hoped they would beat Rennes in the Europa Conference League last night to return to winning ways.
However, it was yet another disappointing night for them with the Lilywhites now on a run of two games without a win and their performance in the game simply wasn’t good enough.
Spurs lacked the initiative in that game and after they were gifted the first goal, they went 2-1 down before Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg scored a leveller for them.
The club posted a video of the Danish midfielder talking about the game and their fans took to the comments to talk about their disappointment in their performance.
Here are some responses:
Maybe improving got lost in translation! No better than the Palace game, Rennes will be disappointed not to have scored more. This is going to be a long season of disappointments

We are falling with him.
There is no light.
This UCL debut for Spurs could've ended worse if it weren't for Hojbjerg's goal. One point is never a good and expected outcome starting a season, but worse is nothing. 5 more chances for Spurs to show who's the boss!!! #COYS

Many people say Tottenham is a Harry Kane team, but the truth is that we are more Heungmin Son team than Harry Kane team in our counterattack tactics.
