Tottenham are looking to sign the Celtic striker Kyogo Furuhashi at the end of the season.

The 28-year-old has been in spectacular form for the Scottish club and he has helped them win the league title this season. The Japanese international has 33 goals across all competitions and he could prove to be a quality addition to the Tottenham attack

Furuhashi has shown that he has the ability to perform at a higher level and he could be excited about the opportunity to play in the Premier League.

A report from the Scottish Sun claims that Tottenham are hoping to appoint Ange Postecoglou as their new manager and they feel that the 57-year-old Australian could help them sign the Japanese international.

The opportunity to reunite with the Australian manager at a big Premier League club could prove to be hard to turn down for the Japanese striker.

Meanwhile, Tottenham strikers Son Heung-min and Richarlison have been quite poor this season and signing another player to improve the attacking department could prove to be a wise decision. Furuhashi could compete with the likes of Son and Richarlison next season and the increased competition for places will only help the team improve.

He could also share the goalscoring burden with Harry Kane next season The England international has been carrying the Tottenham attack all by himself this season. He needs more help and support from his teammates.

Apparently, Spurs are prepared to pay around £25-£30 million for the Japanese striker and it remains to be seen whether Celtic are prepared to sanction his departure.
