Tottenham weighing up move for 41-year-old manager

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in the services of Edin Terzić.

Edin Terzić has worked wonders with Borussia Dortmund and he has led his team to the Champions League final where they will square up against Real Madrid this season.

On the back of this incredible run in Europe’s biggest club competition, the 41-year-old has been linked with a move to the Premier League. According to Bild via SportWitnes, Tottenham are one of the clubs interested in Terzić.

The North London club haven’t been at their best in recent weeks. They lost four league games in a row before returning to winning ways last time out against Burnley. That run of four defeats has almost crushed their hopes of booking a place in next year’s Champions League.

They had a sensational start under Ange Postecoglou who took charge last summer. Spurs were in contention for a top-four finish right from the start but things have gone downhill in recent weeks. Despite the season not ending in the manner they would have liked, the Australian manager’s job seems secure.

There haven’t been any rumours of Tottenham having any second thoughts about Postecoglou. They are expected to spend big in the summer to give the former Celtic manager the type of players he needs to succeed at the club.

While Terzic has done a great job at Dortmund by helping them to the UCL final, the Tottenham job seems unlikely right now. The 41-year-old was having a tough time in the league a few months ago and he might not be ready to take a massive challenge in the Premier League just yet.

In addition to that, Spurs seem quite happy with Postecoglou for now and it would be a huge surprise if they decided to move for another manager anytime soon.
