Late in the USA’s Women’s Soccer 2-0 quarterfinal victory over New Zealand, star midfielder Alex Morgan had a scary collision with New Zealand goaltender Jenny Lindon. Well, scary for Jenny Lindon’s face that is. Morgan was heading for a ball passed ahead of her to score what would have been the game sealing goal, while Lindon lunged toward the same ball. The scene ended with Lindon’s face becoming well acquainted with Morgan’s knee.

Amazingly, both players came from the incident unharmed, and Lindon actually finished the game for New Zealand. Here’s the video:
