Sergi Canos is delighted with his move to Valencia.

The former Brentford midfielder made a permanent switch over the weekend.

Canos said, "I was born in Valencia. My father put the shirt and scarf on me when I was very young. He bought shares in Valencia, for him, for my mother and my sister and for me. I went to the Nules Valencian supporters club and that's where it came from.

"The moment of my debut is unimaginable. I I can't imagine it for myself or my family.

"The preseason has not been one of the best, because I haven't played for a minute. And both the stress and the market have had a great influence on me, on how I've slept, on how I've carried these two months. I've continued training with Brentford, but not in the best way or in the way that I would have liked.

"Let's take it easy, today I have already trained and I am under the orders of (Ruben) Baraja and to the death."
