The Italy national team have picked a selection of stand-out goals scored by the mens’ senior and youth sides from the international matches that took place at the end of March.

Two of Italy’s best goals from the most recent round of international fixtures came from the senior side, courtesy of Genoa striker Mateo Retegui and Inter midfielder Nicolo Barella.

Retegui’s strike came during the 2-1 victory over Venezuela in Fort Lauderdale, USA on March 21. Barella’s came a few days later in the 2-0 win over Ecuador at the Red Bull Arena in New Jersey on March 24.

The third goal highlighted by the Italy national team was Simone Pafundi’s for the U19 Azzurrini side during their 3-1 win over Scotland in a EURO qualifier on March 20.
