Watch: Chad Gable & Jason Jordan Reunite Backstage Before Raw

Chad Gable and Jason Jordan were a tag team known as The American Alpha and they recently had a reunion ahead of last night's edition of Monday Night Raw.

The duo used to be a tag team back in the day when Triple H ran NXT. Gable and Jordan were one of the hottest tag teams of the black and gold brand. They are former NXT Tag Team Champions and Triple Crown Champions in WWE.

Jordan and Gable were called up to the main roster following the 2016 WWE Draft. They went on to capture the SmackDown Tag Team Championships. However, the tag team split when Jason Jordan was moved to Raw as part of his storyline with WWE Hall of Famer, Kurt Angle. Meanwhile, Chad Gable stayed on SmackDown.

Jordan is currently the lead producer in WWE. The role sees a major responsibility in putting together the bouts and segments. It has come to light that Jordan has been producing Gable's matches during his feud with the WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther.

Ahead of last night's Raw, WWE released a video clip in which Chad Gable and Jason Jordan had a reunion backstage. In the video, they hugged when they met and said they missed each other. Gable said that he was ready to take on Gunther. Gable went on to express gratitude towards Jordan for his support since his early days.
