Thomas Tuchel laughed at full time that it was typical of his team that they had won 1-0 with a penalty from Jorginho, and it’s true that this has become the defining result of his tenure so far.

It wasn’t the prettiest game, with two half fit, half baked teams taking each other on with all sorts of new faces and players out of position, but we got the job done, and can hopefully build on this week after week.
