Liverpool had just conceded an unfortunate goal, with the ball striking Conor Bradley’s boot and diverting past Caoimhin Kelleher, despite having dominated proceedings at Anfield.

It’s a great opportunity to rest the Egyptian and a well-calculated risk if it pays off and the hosts secure all the points.
