Goal journalist James Robson says he fears for Erik ten Hag at Manchester United.

Manchester United lost their opening two matches this season – 2-1 to Brighton and 4-0 to Brentford, and to make matters even worse, we’ve got Liverpool next week.

This could make for an ugly start to life at Old Trafford for new manager Erik ten Hag.

Robson questions if the style of play Ten Hag has tried to implement will work with the current group of players at the club. It goes without saying that the board still hasn’t signed his primary target.

Check out the video clip below from Sky News for Robson’s damning assessment:

As United fans, we hope Ten Hag can turn things around this season, but we must remember that this was a long-term appointment.

The problems we are seeing now and from years of bad recruit under owners who only care about making money from United.

I just hope every day that the end of the Glazers is near to take us out of this misery.
