Milan have set off for Tuscany ahead of their Serie A encounter with Fiorentina on Saturday evening, and coach Stefano Pioli has included three youngsters from the Primavera squad in his travelling party.

The three teenagers included in the Milan group this weekend are 18-year-old centre-back Jan-Carlo Simic, left-back Davide Bartesaghi and 19-year-old central midfielder Kevin Zeroli.

The latter is expected to sign a new, professional contract with the Rossoneri according to reports earlier on Friday.

Pioli will have a handful of notable absentees against Fiorentina, the most high-profile being Theo Hernanedez, who will serve his suspension having picked up his fifth yellow card of the season against Atalanta prior to the international break.

In terms of injuries, there will be no Simon Kjaer, Pierre Kalulu or Tommaso Pobega in Tuscany, as they continue their respective rehabilitation programmes.

Despite the slight changes to his roster, Pioli is expected to name a relatively familiar starting XI, with Alessandro Florenzi likely to start at left-back in place of Theo Hernandez, as per TMW

Kick-off between Fiorentina and Milan is set for 19.45 GMT on Saturday.
