Sweden and England met up in an international friendly on Wednesday at Sweden’s new national stadium, and the home squad came away with a 4-2 victory, thanks to striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s quartet of goals. If you happened to be watching this match you might have thought that Ibrahimovic’s third goal, scored on a gorgeous free kick, might have been the best one of the day. You’d have been wrong. His fourth and final goal of the game came on a ridiculously amazing bicycle kick after England goalkeeper Joe Hart’ attempted an ill-fated clearing header. The stunner of a goal was worth the price of admission alone for the 50,000 plus in attendance. Unfortunately for Ibrahimovic today was the day FIFA released their candidates for “10 Best Goals of the Year,” which—sadly for them—came out a day too early, and will be an incomplete list without this absolute gem on it.
