This shirt emerged on Reddit when a user said that his father wore it to a Notre Dame-Purdue game in the 1980s. Not only is the shirt inappropriate, but it is hilarious. I wonder if the reemergence of this shirt will inspire current Boilermaker students to create a newer version of the shirt.
San Francisco 49ers running back Marcus Lattimore was shown running football stadium stairs for an Under Armour commercial. He’s not back to 100% yet, but the fact that he can run up a flight of stairs that quickly, just months after knee surgery is truly amazing.
Sources tell me Dwight is learning Chinese because of the Houston Rockets connection to the Chinese market.
Oh hey, Jeanie Buss is also helping with the Lakers sales pitch:
@DwightHoward Lakers offer 1) best opportunities for your playing & post-playing career 2) have BEST fans 3) I'm here for you #STAYD12

Fresh off his NBA Championship, Chris ‘Birdman’ Anderson and fiancee Tina Wiseman, hit up the club in Hollywood, Florida. More like, Boobman, amirite?
Last week we showed you Robert Gil, the 29-year-old Arizona Cardinals rookie, who ran on a treadmill at 25 MPH. In an attempt to one-up the rookie, Chad Johnson posted this video on Twitter of him running on a treadmill at a 2.5% incline at 24 MPH. Seems the 35-year-old NFL free-agent still has the athleticism.
Remember Glenn Rice supposedly banging Sarah Palin? Well, get a load of this story about the NBA’s greatest player and a former MTV VJ.
According to TMZ, in “The Chronicles of Kennedy,” a book written by former MTV star, Lisa Kennedy Montgomery (Kennedy), Michael Jordan once tried to sleep with her during a dice game back in 1995.
Here’s the supposed story that Kennedy...
A pre-arranged fist fight broke out between Swedish and Danish. Fists were the objects used in the brawl between fans of Swedish’s second-division club GAIS (wearing dark blue) and on the opposite end, the fans weraing red (FC Copenhagen and Swedish first-division side Helsingborg IF). Way to keep it clean, gentlemen.
Hey, at least there’s a highlight from Monday’s Houston Astros-Tampa Bay Rays game at Minute Maid Park. Well played, sir, well played.
It only took two pitches for Bryce Harper to fully be back with the Nationals. The 20-year-old Harper, who has been on the disabled list for over a month because of knee injury, hit a opposite field home run on his first swing back Monday night against the Brewer. Harper’s 13th home run on the season earned him a curtain call.
I was one of the many who was happy to see Bryce back...
With Butler set to join the Big East conference, “Trip”, one of Butler’s Bulldog mascots, set out on a training mission to get faster, stronger and smarter. Safe to say this video is even cuter than the one created when the Butler and Georgetown bulldogs had a playdate.
The University of Kentucky is off to a hot start under new head coach Mark Stoops for the 2014 recruiting class. Ranked in the top 10 of 247sports team rankings, one of the Wildcat’s top remaining targets, Matt Elam, is getting his fare share of attention.
Elam is a 6’6”, 360-pound, defensive tackle out of John Hardin High School in Elizabethtown, Kentucky, received 182...
Alabama Crimson Tide defensive coordinator Kirby Smart killed a rather large snake and then posed for picture with it. I’m sure plenty of crazy football fans will now debate whether this is a good or a bad omen for the Crimson Tide’s football season next year. [@marccourville]
Nebraska Quarterback Taylor Martinez posed for a picture with his offensive lineman at a construction site. It appears that there is some remodeling going on to the Cornhuskers football stadium and they were there for a photo op. Can you guess which one is Martinez?
It seems as though almost every citizen in Russia with a car has a dash cam, and while this isn’t sports related, it was too ridiculous not to post something about it. You truly have to see it to believe it.

Florida Atlantic University has had a football team for 12 years, and they finally decided to make a switch and get rid of the white helmets. I love the wings on the sides of the jerseys, which seem to be a staple for Adidas schools that have a bird as their mascot (Florida Atlantic Owls). The striping on the helmet looks great and I like the logo on the helmet with the number...
The newest video from Dude Perfect features them visiting the St. Louis Rams and seeing their punter Johnny Hekker and having a few guest appearances from their kicker Greg Zuerlein and long snapper Jake McQuaide. Not only does Hekker bust out some incredible punts, he shows off his throwing arm and gives a hilarious interview. I’m sure Rich Eisen loved his “Punters Are...
Rapper and Houston native, Slim Thug, is putting on his full-court-press on NBA free-agent Dwight Howard today on Twitter. Stayve Jerome Thomas (Slim Thug) is trying to sell Howard on Houston’s strip clubs, not having Kobe on the Rockets, the tax laws and not having pressure to win it all this year.
Slim Thug sent out these tweets at Howard’s direction today:
Arizona Cardinals defensive tackle Darnell Dockett doesn’t care what R. Kelly has done in his past because he tweeted last night that he’s still a fan of him. This is a pretty ignorant tweet by Dockett, but given his history on Twitter, I’m not sure he’s going to care. Some things though are better off kept to your self.
It’s hard not to go with a Chris Bosh videobomb as my favorite for this past season, but I really like the one by Andrew Bogut’s at the 35 second mark. Can’t wait for next season.
Kansas Jayhawks head coach Charlie Weis posted this vine video of the new Jayhawks football uniforms on Twitter and they are sweet. The video doesn’t show the pants, but the helmet and jersey combos are phenomenal.
The matte black helmet with the black jersey looks great, and so does the blue jersey with the red helmet and the throwback Jayhawks logo. My personal favorite though...
With the new additions of the Pittsburgh Panthers, Syracuse Orange and Notre Dame Fighting Irish coming to the ACC conference, the ACC went to New York to welcome their new members. The mascots for all of the teams went on the Statue of Liberty Cruise and went around the city, as coaches and other ACC dignitaries held news conferences.
The Butt Fumble by Mark Sanchez during the New York Jets-New England Patriots Thanksgiving Day game is my personal favorite highlight of the year. Watching it never gets old, and this new silent film version is just incredible. I don’t know how people come up with these ideas, but calling it “An Unfortunate End” is putting it lightly.
It looks like the ACC website doesn’t have very high hopes for the Pittsburgh Panthers inaugural season in the conference next year. Monday marked the day the Panthers, the Syracuse Orange and Notre Dame officially moved from the Big East to the ACC. Notre Dame obviously only moved for every sport except football.
The Panthers went 6-7 last year in the Big East, which is now...
The rebranded New Orleans Pelicans has officiallystarted. The team unveiled their newly designed court Monday with the new logo in the middle. Jerseys are supposed to come out in the next couple of weeks.
The Pelicans site gives you the option to take an interactive tour of the new arena, or check out a video of their premium seating.
In the first collegiate Twitter handle trade ever, the Stanford Cardinal traded the Twitter handle @SUAthletics to the Syracuse Orange. The press release from Stanford detailing the trade is absolutely hysterical.
Stanford’s social media lineup saw a shakeup over the weekend as the nation’s most successful athletic department traded its Twitter handle, @SUAthletics, to the...
