Asking Bryce Harper if he will have a celebratory beer is a ‘clown question, bro’ according to Bryce Harper

To start, Bryce Harper is 19-years-old. So it’s not legal for him to drink beer….in the U.S. Well last night, Harper and the Nationals played in Toronto where it’s legal to drink at 19. So since Harper hit a very impressive home run in the Nationals’ 4-2 win over the Blue Jays, one reporter thought he would ask whether Harper would have a Canadian beer to celebrate. And...

Cameras zoom in on Riley, Mourning

Mitch Kupchak knows all about having to sit in the midst of the Oklahoma City crowd. It was obviously a painful experience for him. And from the look on Pat Riley’s and Alonzo Mourning’s faces, it was just as painful for them as well. Luckily for us, ABC cameras were able to give us an in depth look into just how much Riley and Mourning was suffering. And just for good...

Strained relationship with Rajan Rondo could reportedly lead to Ray Allen leaving the Celtics

It’s inevitable that the Boston Celtics will look considerably different next season. And while there is a report that Danny Ainge is “open” to bringing everyone back, you have to think that it just won’t happen. As it stands now, Paul Pierce will definitely be back. Rajan Rondo should as well, but they’ve tried to trade him once so you never know. As for Garnett, if he...

Mat Latos’ wife Dallas at the center of a Jose Valverde spitball controversy

Last night during the Reds-Tigers game, Detroit pitcher Jose Valverde appeared to spit in his glove, while the ball was in it, before grabbing dirt from the mound and gripping the ball. Valverde’s actions led to a Reds fan uploading a slow motion video as well as a full speed video to YouTube accusing Valverde of throwing a spitball. The video probably would’ve just faded away...

Croatian fans fought Polish police before Croatia’s match against Ireland

We know that Polish police are armed with high-tech sonic cannons and testicle-biting dogs, but apparently Croatian fans either didn’t know that or didn’t care. And since they didn’t know or didn’t care, they took time out from their pregame partying to have a confrontation with Polish police. At first, Croation fans have the Polish police outnumbered and are getting the...

Kevin Garnett is reportedly on the Spurs radar

What you’re about to read is hard to believe. And though it most likely won’t happen, just the fact the Spurs would even consider signing Kevin Garnett is news. Especially since Tim Duncan apparently hates him. But if there’s one thing the Spurs do better than any other organization in the league, it’s bringing in different personalities and making it work. And if they are...

Celtics fans dump beer on LeBron James, hit Dwyane Wade in the head with basketball

In what could be the final game played at the Boston Garden this season, a rather tame Boston crowd found a way to leave their mark. They were unable to really get involved from a noise perspective because the Heat led most of the way, but they got involved in other ways. Namely hitting Dwyane Wade in the hit with the basketball and dumping beer on LeBron James. Here’s a Celtics...

After attempting to trade him, Patriots reportedly waive Chad Ochocinco

You’d had to be blind not to have seen this coming. Never mind that Ochocinco’s contribution to the Patriots last season was next to none, but during the offseason New England signed free agent receivers Brandon Lloyd, Donte Stallworth, Anthony Gonzalez, and Jabar Gaffney. Just in case you’re wondering, the Celtics haven’t practiced since April

It goes without saying that a veteran squad like the Boston Celtics don’t exactly need to practice sets and situations on a regular basis. The core has pretty much seen it all but. Throw in injuries to Paul Pierce, Ray Allen, and Avery Bradley and it’s pretty obvious that Doc Rivers would want his team to get as much rest as they could possibly get during the playoffs. Despite...

But for those that have made the trip just to cause ruckus in and outside the stadiums, a not so wonderful time awaits them.
