(October 27, 2012) Roger Federer will face Juan Martin Del Potro for hos hometown title the Swiss Indoors in Basel on Sunday. Del Potro had few problems with Richard Gasquet, eliminating the Frenchman 6-2, 6-2. He spoke to media about his match-up with Federer, to whom has has lost to six times this year: “I was close in the Olympics and French Open but I never beat him this year,” said Del Potro, “He has all the shots. He’s a very, very complete player.” “I’m excited to see how he is going to come out and play,” Federer said.. “We have had a couple of tough ones, at the French Open and particularly at the Olympics. I had a really hard time breaking his serve. The margins are extremely small.” The Swiss holds a career 13-2 record versus the Argentine.
