Maria Sharapova is using her flair for fashion and her savvy business sense to build upon on the success of her “Sugarpova” candy brand. The tennis star has unveiled the “Sugarpova Accessory Collection,” offered exclusively at New York-based department store, Henri Bendel. The collection serves as an extension of the “Sugarpova” premium candy line, which first launched in 2012.
“Maria co-designed the collection alongside the Henri Bendel team of accessory designers to reflect the international tennis sensations fun and fashionable side.”
This is not Sharapova’s first foray into the design world. She’s intimately involved in developing her competitive fashions and in collaboration with Cole Haan, she has created a range of footwear and handbags. The new Sugarpova-inspired accessory designs feature the brand’s colorful, quirky styling and lip logo. Among the offerings are earrings, necklaces, hair clips, cosmetic bags, tees and tanks.
Sharapova debuted the sweet new styles today, at Henri Bendel’s New York flagship store. The “Sugarpova Accessory Collection” is currently available here. Check out a preview of the offerings:
