Maria Sharapova has about a bajillion dollars in tennis tournament earnings and endorsement deals, but that hasn’t stopped her from earning even more money in the always lucrative candy business. Sharapova’s candy line, the aptly named “Sugarpova,” was released in August. She celebrated that release by playing beer pong with Jimmy Fallon, and her next celebration may need to include some champagne. Bloomberg reports that the Sugarpova line has been wildly successful, despite investing little in advertising and despite a somewhat steep price tag on each bag of candy. Bloomberg reports that the candy line is expected to sell 1 million bags in a year, with Sharapova earning up to $1.10 per bag, with the candy flying off the shelf at $5.99 per bag. “We don’t really have a big budget for marketing and advertisement,” Sharapova said, according to Bloomberg. “So it’s pretty incredible that the awareness that it has so far is where it is.” It’s a savvy business move tapping into the gummy candy market, which is apparently worth $28 billion per year. Photo of the Day Maybe Maria Sharapova is interested in buying? Quote of the Day “I can’t imagine a scenario in which he’ll be a Jacksonville Jaguar — even if he’s released.” –Jaguars general manager David Caldwell is not a fan of Tim Tebow, apparently Tweet of the Day Hockey East action on NESN begins Friday night at 7. Hopefully it doesn’t ruin too many families. Could Ohio State really use all three quarterbacks?

Urban Meyer and Ohio State have a problem. It’s a good problem, but it’s still a major issue that won’t be resolved for a while. The Buckeyes boast three championship-caliber quarterbacks in Braxton Miller, J.T. Barrett and Cardale Jones, a luxury unheard of seemingly at any level. The competition for the starting job is undoubtedly fierce, and whomever takes the No. 1 spot...

WATCH: Luke Rockhold chokes out Lyoto Machida

Luke Rockhold (pictured) may have entered Saturday’s scrap against Lyoto Machida as the fourth ranked UFC middleweight, but he likely left the cage as the division’s top contender. Sorry, Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza.  Machida fell to the mat in the opening round after eating a punch (it also looked like he slipped at the same time), but “The Dragon” was never able to recover...

Isaiah Thomas once peed himself to avoid subbing out

You typically have to be at least 54 inches tall to ride a roller coaster, 57 inches tall to get out of a booster seat, and at least six feet tall to play in the NBA. OK, so the latter isn’t an actual rule, but more of a forgone conclusion that if you don’t hit that minimum height suggestion, you won’t get a crack at most rosters beyond high school. Unless you’re Isaiah...
