MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA - JANUARY 22: Rafael Nadal of Spain plays a backhand in his third round match against Philipp Kohlschreiber of Germany during day five of the 2010 Australian Open at Melbourne Park on January 22, 2010 in Melbourne, Australia. (Photo by Lucas Dawson/Getty Images)

If you’re Rafael Nadal, and you just lost in the second round at Wimbledon to some guy that even big tennis fans have never heard of, is it potentially time to do some re-evaluate some parts of your life?

Even though he just won the French Open, he’s clearly the second-best player in the world now after Novak Djokovic. Is his illicit relationship with Shakira (clearly outlined in this video) taking a toll on his performance on the court? I was under the impression that Shakira has a long-time boyfriend, and Nadal has a longtime girlfriend, but there is some unmistakable sexual chemistry brewing here between the two and I’m not sure it can be stopped.

Just watch Shakira curl up in a ball and Nadal comfort her. It’s almost creepy. Then you take into account that Shakira apparently is a gypsy, and everything becomes much more clear. She stole his soul, and now he can’t beat Lukas Rosol on the biggest tennis stage in the world.

I’m not sure if this video is off-putting or not, but I’ve been humming the song all day, and it’s distracted me from re-watching the “She Wolf” video, which I had previously been watching at an extremely unhealthy rate.

On second thought, good for you Rafa. Screw tennis. You already have enough money to own half of Spain, and you’ll go down as one of the all-time greats no matter what happens from here one out. Do your thing, because whether she’s a wolf or a gypsy,  Shakira is still smoking hot.
