Polish ace Hubert Hurkacz was seen losing his cool during the match against Grigor Dimitrov at the 2024 Miami Open. In an all-exciting clash between the two talented ATP stars for the quarter-final spot, the Pole fell just short of the finish line.

The match saw the flow of all kinds of emotions as the game went to the third set. It was the No. 8 seed who had taken the first set pretty comfortably but lost the second one as Dimitrov posed a comeback. The third set had a mix of both sets, as the players sweated it out for the final spot in the quarter-finals.

In no time, the match was taken to a final tie-break, which also started in a 2-2 tie. With emotions flowing high from both the players, it was bound to show on the court. Hubert Hurkacz, who is usually a calm character, lost his cool as his left foot touched the net while sprinting forward to receive a drop shot.

Rightly so, the Umpire called it, after which Hurkacz smashed his racket on the ground out of frustration. Moreover, the Polish ace stood right there, questioning the umpire, but ultimately his foot did touch the net and the point went to Dimitrov.

The Pole was still shocked by the decision and did not get out of the foul momentum, as Dimitrov swooped in and stole the rest of the points to win the tie-break and the match.
