1. LONDON SWELLS WITH OLYMPIC ARRIVALS
Three days before the games officially begin, athletes, tourists and media swarm the British capital. The rails are already reporting snags, and security is on the upswing. Will the transportation systems hold up?
2. SUNNY SKIES - FOR NOW
Sunny Monday, Sunny Tuesday. Probably sunny Wednesday and Thursday, too. But Friday - the opening ceremony - is the day that counts. Forecasters have said rain could be in the cards, but the ceremony's director - whose job is to capture English flavor - was planning for rain anyway.
3. FIRST LOOK: JAMAICAN TRACK AND FIELD
The Jamaican team makes its first public appearance in the Olympic nation in Birmingham, and sprinters Usain Bolt and Yohan Blake could show up. Which one will end up taking the 100-meter dash?
