The fun ended so fast, and Usain Bolt was serious for the first time, maybe ever. Even angry. Who knew he could be? He had just been talking about his favorite subject, his own greatness, after winning the 200-meter Olympic gold Thursday night. He called himself a legend, the greatest athlete to live, and then raised his arms as if he were a Pope, and said to "bask in my glory.'' Only Bolt can pull that off. Then, snap, it turned. "I'm going to say something controversial,'' he said. "Carl Lewis. I have no respect for him. He's just looking for attention because nobody really talks about him. I've lost all respect for him. All respect.'' Lewis has made comments about Bolt and the dominant Jamaican sprinters, suggesting that they might be on steroids.
