Instagram.com/mjenneke93 Michelle Jenneke, the world’s favorite happy Australian hurdler, hurt her hamstring earlier this week. The injury forced her to miss the state championship games, but she is still, um, on track to run at the Sydney Track Classic next Saturday, Mar. 9. Jenneke posted a photo to her Facebook and Instagram pages thanking Sports Physio Norwest for their help in getting her ready just one week away from the Sydney Track Classic. As usual, Jenneke’s photographer was spot on while capturing the moment. (Also, what’s an Aussie gotta do to get a nice blue check mark on her Twitter? That YouTube video and posing for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue should be enough to make her worthy of verification.) Instagram.com/mjenneke93 To clarify, the rehab aide is kneading Jenneke’s hamstring/butt cheek. He is NOT elbow-deep in the Land Down Under. The photo’s angle and the gent’s elbow create an optical illusion that science just doesn’t bear out. We expect more pics of Jenneke’s rehab process this week, as well as pics from the event next weekend. [@MJenneke93] Filed under: Chicks
