AEW's Chris Jericho files for three new trademarks

AEW's Chris Jericho filed for three new trademarks this week.

On April 10, Jericho applied to trademark "The Learning Tree," "The Educator," and "The Rarified Air of Jericho." All three terms go along with the latest version of Jericho's character.

The trademarks are listed as being for:

Entertainment in the nature of wrestling contests; Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibits and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, live appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Entertainment services, namely, televised appearances by a professional wrestler and sports entertainer; Providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; Providing online interviews featuring a professional wrestling and sports entertainment personality in the field of professional wrestling and sports entertainment for entertainment purposes

Jericho gave a heel interview on AEW Dynamite this week where he claimed that Hook and the veteran Katsuyori Shibata were going to sit under his learning tree. He said that, if Hook and Shibata listened to him and breathed the Rarified Air of Jericho, their trio would have nothing but success in the future.

AEW is building toward a Jericho vs. Hook match. An argument between the two led to Shane Taylor Promotions defeating Jericho, Hook & Shibata on Wednesday's Dynamite.

After losing that trios match, Hook told Jericho to get out and said that he's had enough.
