Impact Wrestling's amazing tribute to Don West, details on how you can help as he battles brain lymphoma

Impact Wrestling recently did something great for former TNA Wrestling commentator Don West, who is dealing with cancer for a second time.

West revealed in June 2021 that he had been diagnosed with brain lymphoma and would begin treatment. In September, he announced the cancer was in remission after doing eight weeks of chemotherapy and 13 treatments of radiation. Last December, Jeff Jarrett revealed West's cancer had returned.

Impact made a tribute video for West that was originally private. However, fellow former TNA announcer Mike Tenay, who was the longtime broadcast partner of West, suggested the world should see it.

Tenay wrote, “I recently had the chance to see very personal and emotional video tributes to @DonWestDeals from members of the @IMPACTWRESTLING roster. I thought it was so moving that I asked Don if we could share it with the fans. Don agreed. Is there anything we can do @ScottDAmore?”

Impact executive Scott D’Amore saw the tweet and agreed that it should be posted:

“The video was made to express everybody's love for @DonWestDeals and to let him know how many lives he has touched. If DW would like it shared I'm sure it won't be a problem. Let me check with all involved and see about getting it posted!”
