Mistico On Jon Moxley: I Would Love The Opportunity To Wrestle Him In Japan

Mistico would love to step in the ring with All Elite Wrestling‘s Jon Moxley in the future.

CMLL‘s Mistico recently sat down with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated. When asked about future challenges for him, Mistico revealed he would love to step into the ring with IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley.

“I have watched Jon Moxley turn into a star,” Místico said. “He is more than that, he is a major star and he carries such fighting spirit and heart and determination with him in the ring. I want to wrestle him in Japan. I would love that opportunity.”

Jon Moxley is certainly a contrast in styles and cultures compared to Mistico. While Moxley is grounded in reality, the CMLL star likes the superhero nature of luchadores in Mexico.

“In Mexico, we believe in the mystery,” Místico said. “When you believe, it is very exciting. I know there are differences in the United States. Where I am from, this is tradition. It is a way of life.”
