Saul Young/News Sentinel / USA TODAY NETWORK

Randy Orton , Carmelo Hayes, and Tama Tonga scored big wins on WWE SmackDown.

On the May 10 episode of WWE SmackDown, the blue brand’s side of the King of the Ring tournament began after the competition kicked off Monday on RAW.

First, Baron Corbin faced former NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes, and Hayes scored the win with a roll-up to conclude a hard-fought match.

Angelo Dawkins faced Tama Tonga. Solo Sikoa distracted Dawkins, but Montez Ford took him out with a dive. Tonga Loa and Sikoa attacked Ford at ringside. Tonga capitalized and slammed Dawkins for the win.

Lastly, Randy Orton faced AJ Styles in a thrilling main event. They went back and forth, and Orton slammed Styles on the broadcast table. Back in the ring, Styles targeted Orton’s leg. The two veterans kept battling. Orton countered a Phenomenal Forearm attempt and rallied with a flurry of offense. Styles fired up and hit a Phenomenal Forearm for a two-count. In the end, Orton hit the RKO for the win.

In the next round, Orton will face Carmelo Hayes. Tonga will face either Santos Escobar or LA Knight, who will clash at a live event this weekend.
