Minoru Suzuki competed at MLW Slaughterhouse, and a new report states that he will be back in 2024.
NJPW star Minoru Suzuki faced Jacob Fatu in an interpromotional match at MLW Slaughterhouse on October 14. The match marked a significant step in the new working relationship between NJPW and MLW. Suzuki scored the win over Fatu, a former MLW World Heavyweight Champion.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) reports that MLW plans for Suzuki to come back in 2024. He noted that Suzuki’s win was “big for MLW”. It was both a way to set up a future storyline for Fatu and fortify the company’s relationship with NJPW.
