Things could be a bit more glorious for WWE Superstar Robert Roode right now.

In late 2022, Robert Roode had spinal fusion surgery in Birmingham, and there was hope that would lead him to return to the ring in the future.

But Roode recently took to his Instagram page to drop the news that he just underwent his second back fusion surgery, which was successful. Despite the situation, The Glorious One remains positive and upbeat with the following message:

“Another trip around the sun and another trip to Birmingham Alabama. Quite a way to celebrate my birthday lol. Had a C4/5 cervical fusion to go along with the C5/6 fusion back in November. Most importantly it was a success thanks to the man himself Dr Andy Cordover and the first class staff here at @andrews_sports_medicine. Big thank you @deneane__17 for being my rock throughout this entire process. It’s been a challenging year to say the least *red heart emoji* Road to recovery part 2! *Flex emoji*,” Robert Roode said in a post.

Roode hasn’t competed since June 2022.

On behalf of everyone here at WrestleZone, we wish Robert Roode a safe and speedy recovery.
