The Rock and Dany Garcia’s Seven Bucks Productions Developing Ric Flair Movie

The life and career of Ric Flair could be coming to the big screen. The WWE Hall of Famer is arguably one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time. 

The project

The Wrap reported today that Seven Bucks Productions, headed by The Rock and Dan Garcia, is working to develop a film about Flair. Hiram Garcia will join them to produce it alongside Misher Films’ Kevin Misher.

They recently collaborated on the movie about the life and career of Saraya, “Fighting with My Family.” The project is still in the early stages of being made.

The Rock commented the project, "As a kid who grew up in professional wrestling, I idolized, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair. He was a hero to me. And once I broke into the wrestling business and began to spill my own sweat and blood - my reverence for Ric turned to respect. Because I realized just how rare and impossible it is to disrupt the wrestling business, culture and truly change the game - and that’s exactly what Ric Flair did. Sting joined All Elite Wrestling last year and has been paired with Sting & Darby Allin on television ahead of Sting’s retirement match next month at Revolution.
