Matt Hardy hints at Hardy Boys reunion:
Matt Hardy said there is a “highly likely” possibility that the Hardy Boys will reunite in WWE next year, during a recent interview with Passing The Torch Radio.
Matt is a free agent, while Jeff Hardy is coming to the end of his TNA contract.
It is believed that part of Jeff and TNA’s renegotiation was to give him the World Title from Austin Aries, but there’s nothing to suggest that he’s re-signed, meaning he could still jump ship in 2013 regardless.
Although reports earlier this year that Jeff wanted to return to WWE to recoup the money lost during his legal battles are said to have been exaggerated, it would be hard for anyone to turn down a well paid WWE deal for a lower paid TNA one.
As Jeff himself said in an interview in October: “You never say never in this business, so it depends on where I’ll be at in a few months.”
TNA will be pushing hard to re-sign him, but WWE would also jump at the chance if they believe he’s cleaned up his act.
3rd Hour still dragging down Raw:
This week’s episode of WWE Raw is still stuck at the 2.7 number on the USA Network.
An hour by hour breakdown shows that rather than building to a solid ending, fans are tuning out in boredom as the show trudges along:
- Hour one: 4,147,000 viewers
- Hour two: 4,126,000 viewers
- Hour three: 3,488,00 viewers
While the 3rd hour will always pull the average rating down, it suggests many fans just can’t sit through it all.
TNA PPVs go Espanol:
In the continuing expansion of the product, TNA Wrestling have signed a deal for their PPVs to air on iN DEMAND’s “en Espanol” service.
Beginning with the December Final Resolution event, TNA will now have an extra revenue stream throughout the Hispanic market.
Stars like Chavo and Hernandez aren’t going anywhere.
Michael Weber, TNA’s VP of Marketing stated:
“We applaud In Demand’s efforts to establish the PPV en Español channel and we fully intend to support the new channel with our upcoming TNA Wrestling Pay-Per-View events. I believe this will help the TNA Wrestling brand be exposed to a larger audience.”
Kane sets off fire alarm:
Kane’s pyro set off the fire system and reeked havoc across the CenturyLink Center in Bossier City, Louisiana, at last night’s WWE tapings.
As the event switched from Saturday Morning Slam to Main Event, Kane’s entrance pyro went off and the lights in the arena went down.
Ricardo Rodriguez tweeted:
“So power goes out in entire arena and our amazing crew got everything sorted out ASAP! Show Must Go On. P.S. Kane’s pyro >:( #NoWarning”
During the incident the sprinkler system turned on soaking many WWE stars backstage, as well as damaging filming equipment and personal items in the locker rooms.
It was described as a literal flood in one of the locker rooms, with Triple H taking charge and leading everyone to light and dry land.
Fortunately the main arena area with the audience was not affected and did not need to be evacuated.
November 28, 2012, TNA Xplosion Results:
This week’s episode of TNA Xplosion on Challenge in the UK, featured a from the vault match of Tara defeating Mickie James (Falls Count Anywhere) from Final Resolution 2010, the Impact Rewind, and Spin Cycle featuring guests Daniels, Kazarian, Joseph Park and Taryn Terrell.
The exclusive Xplosion match saw Miss Tessmacher defeat Madison Rayne.
For those wondering why Rayne seems to have toned up a lot recently, JB and Todd Kennely revealed that she has been taking part in bodybuilding and fitness contests outside of wrestling.
(On a side note what the hell is with Miss Tessmacher’s groin thrusting in the corner? It’s far from sexy, it looks retarded! It’s like she turns in to ODB for a few seconds.)
