Via Larry Brown Sports:
Jerry Lawler is still in Montreal recovering from his recent heart attack, but it appears he is doing well. Earlier this week, Lawler’s ex-wife, Stacy Carter, informed us that doctors had taken ‘The King’ out of sedation and that he was responsive. However, there has been some fear that he could have brain damage. All told, he is very lucky to even be alive.
As you can see from the video above that Black Sports Online shared with us, “The King” took a few moments this week from his hospital room to thank the WWE community for its support. He even snuck in a funny joke about having more wires hooked up to him than AT&T, which is a great sign for WWE fans.
The fact that Lawler hasn’t lost his sense of humor is certainly a relief.

McMahons and the "shotcallers for WWE should have a say on whether or not wrestlers get to perform. I love my wrestling and will always watch it, even choosing wrestling before UFC or MMA. That's how I feel about that.
