Hustler still has free reign over Nancy pics: An appeal by the family of the late Nancy Benoit over nude Hustler images has been rejected by the Supreme Court. The family were attempting to reverse an earlier decision that ruled Hustler Magazine were within their rights to publish nude photos of Nancy after her death. Hustler had successfully argued that the photos were newsworthy and protected under the freedom of the press. Nancy’s side argued that because the photos were taken when she was very young and were not published at the time, that Hustler were exploiting her death. ________________________________________________________________________________ Storm works through rib injury: The Cowboy James Storm wrote the following on Twitter about working Final Resolution with a rib injury: “Wrapped up the ribs went out and did my job. Entertained, drank beer, and kick ass. #SAYDL #FinalResolution” Storm defeated Kazarian in an unadvertised match. ________________________________________________________________________________ JR discusses CM Punk situation: WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross discussed whether CM Punk should be stripped of his title due to injury, in his latest JRSBARBQ.com blog: “I am not an advocate of ‘stripping’ Punk of the WWE Championship as many of our Twitter followers have suggested,” wrote the veteran commentator. “As a matter of fact, I wouldn’t even consider that idea unless Punk’s knee surgery is going to keep him out of action for several months of which I don’t expect to happen.” Here are some other highlights from the entry… Kassius Ohno’s future: “I’d be shocked if he’s not an key player on the WWE primary roster in 2013. The world traveler is a smart, strategic, focused athlete who seems to be fully invested in getting to the next level and staying there.” What will close the Royal Rumble: “Already getting questions about what attraction will close the show at WWE Royal Rumble, @CMPunk vs. @TheRock or the Rumble match? I haven’t a clue nor do I care as either choice would be fine with me but if I had to guess I’d guess it would be the WWE Title bout. Again, don’t know and don’t care as I will be watching one of my favorite PPV events of the year. “My guess is that Punk will push Rock inside the ring from bell to bell unlike Rock has been pushed since, arguably, the @steveaustinBSR days. That’s not taking any thing away from @JohnCena who wrestles at a different pace that Austin did or Punk likes to. How does even an athlete as gifted as @TheRock prepare for what awaits inside the 20 foot ring? Cardio is great but nothing replicates wrestling long matches better than wrestling long matches.” ________________________________________________________________________________ Shannon Moore wants to return to WWE: Former WCW and WWE star Shannon Moore noted on his Twitter today that he would like to return to WWE. “Every one keeps asking where I’m going to wrestle again,” Moore wrote. “I think I would want to be part of the @WWE team if I got a chance to go back.” On a national level Moore most recently worked for TNA, but was granted his release in the Summer.
