Add Carlito and Shelton Benjamin to the list of rumored Royal Rumble entrants. PWInsider (via Cageside Seats) is reporting the surprise appearances of the former WWE stars.
Both left the Fed in 2010. Benjamin had recently been rumored to be returning after a run in Ring of Honor. Carlito is more of a surprise since he left WWE disillusioned.
Also rumored: John Morrison (via the Wrestling Observer).
All three are part of a lost generation of WWE stars -- guys who never broke out above mid-card status (MVP also comes to mind). Seeing them back in a WWE ring would be great. It's unclear whether this is a one-shot deal or for longer. Hopefully, the latter.

The list of potential surprise entrants in the Royal Rumble continues to grow. Earlier this week, John Morrison was rumored to be in the Rumble. Then it was Shelton Benjamin and Carlito, who the Wrestling Observer reported have been in Phoenix for a few days.
Now, there's word that Chris Masters and Hurricane Helms are also in the Valley of the Sun. Are they just hanging out...
