Benjamin talks WWE return: Former WWE star Shelton Benjamin who is rumored to be returning to the company, wrote the following on Twitter when a fan asked if he’d go back: “I should hope so. I still got plenty of gas in the tank” Benjamin opted out of his ROH contract at the end of the year and has been appearing on a day-to-day basis for NJPW. As previously reported it’s believed WWE are looking at some names from the past who can still go in the ring, to put over younger talent. ___________________________________________________________ Future plans for Brock Lesnar: If Brock Lesnar signs on for another year WWE are hoping to put him in storylines with Randy Orton and CM Punk. The plan would be to turn CM Punk face and put Heyman back with Lesnar. As previously reported WWE have offered Lesnar a similar one year deal that would only see him take part in a couple of feuds. His current deal expires at Wrestlemania, which suggests he won’t be given a victory at the mega-event unless he puts pen to paper beforehand. ___________________________________________________________ Tyson Kidd injury update: Tyson Kidd who is out rehabbing a knee injury, wrote the following on Twitter about getting back in the gym: “First time I’ve ever used crutches in the gym yesterday, awkward but a great feeling getting the workout done. Rebuilding starts #workhorse” This is Kidd’s first serious injury that requires extended time off. ___________________________________________________________ Kingston denies Rock report: WWE star Kofi Kingston took to Twitter to correct the AZ Central newspaper, which claimed The Rock was mentoring him. “Ah, nothing like exaggeration in the media! Tell em that you received a piece of career advice, they print you’re being mentored!…As honored as I would be were that the case, i must say, regrettably, it’s untrue!”
