It was announced at last night’s WWE Smackdown tapings in Bakersfield, California that the main event for WWE’s Night of Champions will be Randy Orton defending his WWE championship against Daniel Bryan. The feud started started when Bryan defeated John Cena for the WWE title on Sunday at Summerslam. Orton came out after the match, while Bryan was celebrating, he received a pedigree by Triple H. “The Viper” then proceded to come into the ring and pin Bryan to win the title. On Monday’s WWE Monday Night Raw, Orton gave an RKO to Bryan as the former champion tried to enter the ring. WWE’s Night of Champions takes place on Sunday, September 15 from the Joe Louis Arena in Detriot, Michigan. Follow Between The Ropes on Facebook and Twitter.
